This part is designed to adapt a Napoleon stove utilizing 5×8″ direct vent pipe to Simpson DuraVent 5×8″ pipe.
Different manufacturers make vent pipe with different end connections, hence the need for an adapter. This part will fit directly onto your Napoleon fireplace, from there you can use any of the Simpson DuraVent Direct Vent Pro 5×8″ Components.
